OCTOBER 8, 2008, San Diego, CA – Last month, Carole King took part in a very special event called “Frosted Pink with a Twist.” The show, which took place at the San Diego Sports Arena, was a blend of music and sport – and included one of the first television appearances of the US Gymnastic Team since their medal-winning performances in Beijing. We are pleased to announced that the “Frosted Pink with a Twist” show will be airing this Sunday on ABC Television from 4-6pm EST. Be sure to check your local listings for details.
The main goal of the Frosted Pink event was to raise awareness of cancers primarily affecting women. Also appearing the show were Cyndi Lauper, Kenny Loggins, Natasha Bedingfield, Mario and Jesse McCartney, who sang a duet with Carole on “You’ve Got a Friend.”
