James Taylor‘s shows at Tanglewood always seem to have something a little extra special to them. This year it was in the form of a “secret” special guest, pop-country star Taylor Swift. James Taylor was a special surprise guest at Taylor Swift’s show at Madison Square Garden last November. Backstage during that show, James brought up the idea of her appearing at Tanglewood for his shows during the week of July 4th.
Taylor Swift is still being rumored for the part of Joni Mitchell in the movie adaptation of Sheila Weller’s triple-biography Girls Like Us. During the Madison Square Garden show, Taylor Swift revealed that she was named after James Taylor.
